Harzer Schnitzelhaus & Waffelbackerei in Bad Sachsa

Last weekend I was invited to the motorhome dinner and the 'table was ordered at the Schnitzelhaus'. It was wonderful! Super delicious food and service outside the home in the mobile home! Thank you for your effort !!! 🥂🍀🤩

Three of us had dinner here today and had our dog with us. We ate three delicious schnitzel and three servings of waffles. Schnitzel and waffles were outstanding. But what I liked best was the service. In the entrance area snacks and water were provided for the dogs and when the friendly waitress noticed our dog lady, there was a separate bowl with water, which was gratefully accepted. Many thanks to the friendly service with the tattoos on the arm. Anyone looking for good food and great service "eats" at the right place.

There were eight of us out and about and spontaneously called the schnitzel house. After a very friendly phone call, we were very happy to get a table for so many people during the Corona period. Outside we sat and ate very nicely. The service was first class and the food spoke for itself. Everyone was very satisfied. We'll definitely come back when we're around. Many thanks to the great team We'd been around to collect stamps and then returned. This time, too, the food was great, as was the service. It is said that all good things come in threes. We will be back.

Terrible rude service. The lady seemed completely overwhelmed. Why do you have to wait 20 minutes for the menu to come? And then get cheeky ... We are glad that we found something better nearby ....

Today I actually wanted to go out to eat with a friend. After thinking about it for a long time, we decided on the Harzer Schnitzelhaus and Harzer Waffelbäckerei. Unfortunately, we were warned extremely rudely that all tables are reserved. And that although almost all tables were free. It's a shame, the food actually looked very tasty!

After a very friendly welcome and after our question, "If there might still be a table for 5 people available", we were assigned a table without a reservation, without a long waiting time and a completely full house 😊 .... Totally friendly staff .. After ordering our food and drinks were served quickly😊 ... The food was absolutely delicious and the price-performance ratio was reasonable .... We will definitely come back on our next vacation visit😁 We wish you all the best and above all health🍀

Hello, We were very surprised by the quality of the food, absolutely delicious, plates not overfilled. What we did not like was the service, the only man without an apron was very attentive to the tables he knew. So it seemed to us. We also had to speak to him at the front door that we would like to pay. We didn't like the volume that much either. Maybe we just got the wrong day. We will definitely try it again. 😊

Delicious schnitzel, had a lot of choice and was very friendly. The waffles are also highly recommended - bring your appetite! Would come back again and again

There was really nothing wrong with the food, it came quickly and was really tasty. Unfortunately we didn't feel at home at all, from the first second and couldn't really enjoy our stay, so we decided against a delicious dessert and a longer stay. Unfortunately, we were received in a very unfriendly manner, there was no service outside on the terrace, although the temperatures were quite mild and immediately pointed out that wearing the M / NS was very penetrating. At the table it was strongly advised to include the telephone number in the contact details, an elderly lady at the next table was forced to give her telephone number, otherwise she would have been refused service, all in a very harsh, inappropriate tone. The number was then repeated out loud, great data protection!

Only stayed one night in Bad Sachsa. Visited the schnitzel house on recommendation and left it almost spherically. Reservation problem-free, well-attended restaurant. Delicious schnitzel variations, plus a large salad, wonderful waffles, followed by the Plauzenbügler. Nice people, reasonable waiting time and moderate prices. We were served - in a positive sense 😁

Food very tasty. We were there on a Friday, it was very busy. As a result, it took a little longer ... However, spacing regulations were observed, the tables are sufficiently spaced. Plus point: You can reserve online. Parking space available, but parking is also possible in the vicinity. I can only recommend the visit!

So I can only recommend it. Really delicious. We felt very comfortable there. Waiters and waitresses were very friendly. The schnitzel house was very well attended. In terms of price, it was completely okay. I recommend everyone to go there on an empty stomach. You're guaranteed to get out full again. And the waffles have to be tried as dessert. If we had the opportunity, we would be regular guests ... If the Harzer Schnitzelhaus would like to move, then please to NRW in the Ruhrpott 😀

Absolutely amazing food. My husband and I got schnitzel with bacon, onions and roasted potatoes and our daughter got schnitzel au gratin with tomatoes and cheese topped with tomato sauce and potato croquettes. For dessert, we got apple strudel waffle with vanilla sauce and puff pastry strips. It tasted absolutely amazing and we almost rolled from there. The service is top notch and you have to have your dog with you. Then it just does not get better. I can definitely recommend a trip here if you are on holiday in the Harz.

Despite calling them Schnitzel und Waffelhouse, both Schnitzels and Waffels were a disappointment. Particularly, the Schnitzels were the hardest thing to chew.

The name does what it says on the tin. Buses with customers come here, live music in the afternoon adds to the atmosphere. The service is very nice and friendly and attentive. I was there as a guest in the afternoon and there was a small menu. I chose currywurst with fries, very, very tasty. As a small meal in between and priced in the range of normal (not overpriced). Will definitely be back.

Wow, this is really a Schnitzelhaus! Good quality meat, and nice variety on the menu. If you want to be sure of a place, you better book a reservation :-)

First time here during our holidays. Nice place, friendly staff. They make an effort to make the visit a pleasent one. Food is good, big portions for a very good price. Should I come back? YES!

Not as good as expected, no atmosphere.

The aioli was really nice, sorry I can’t say the same about the service! Waitress asked really weird questions and didn’t seem nice at all.

Recommended! Very tasty dishes - we have. 4 different Schnitzel variants consumed. The service is friendly and competent. The value for money is adequate / good. We will definitely be back. And that the service is called a "service angel", I think great! 👍

Quality Schnitzels in great variety at reasonable prices. Great selection of beers including ones that are brewed for this restaurant specifically. I'd recommend Schneider Weizen.

Its very good but its a bit expensive

Excellent food, extremely friendly staff and great music in the background.

Surprisingly good! I thought it would be one of those tourist traps with greasy food and soggy salads but the schnitzels were excellent and the staff was friendly, quick and professional. What's more: no annoying closures during the afternoon. You can eat a schnitzel whenever you want. That's a huge plus!
